Meredith's vocabulary continues to move along by leaps and bounds. She has finally starting using 'me' and 'I' instead of always referring to herself in third person. She is still getting things confused though and asked me the other day to "sit in front of you" when she meant "sit in front of me".
Lately she has taken to saying 'member? in place of "I don't know" or "no". Here's an example.
Me: Meredith, do you remember who came to visit us the other day?
Meredith: 'member? (as in remember?)
On an outing to Target the other day we were cruising the children's book aisle and Meredith shouted out "Brown Bear!". I picked it up off of the shelf. We don't own this book at home. I was aghast when she sat there in the cart and recited the whole entire book. It is now part of our collection.
