Well, what have we been up to since November?  Wowzers.

Christmas came and went with much joy and festivity.

More cousin fun
After Christmas it is one big, freezing cold blur as we had such frigid weather this winter.  Several snow days in there, and a little sledding just to remember that we can be outside and breathe fresh air.

Meredith did play basketball this winter with several friends from school.  She seemed to like it and plans to play next year too.

We also took a spring vacation to Chicago for  a weekend. Frank was there for a conference, so my sister joined us and we traipsed around the city, went to the zoo, park, aquarium, and tried yummy food.

The end of the school year brought major mayhem, as it usually does- picnics, musicals, end of the year presentations, recitals, softball.  Meredith played softball again this year and really improved from last year.  I know I’m biased, but she’s pretty good.

Now summer has arrived, and we will soon have a 3rd grader in the house.  We spent last week at Vacation Bible School, and are anticipating vacation here in a few weeks.  Softball has wrapped up the season, so our scheduled has cleared for pool trips, ice cream, lightening bugs, and all things summer.  My favorite time of year.
