Broadway Baby

Dear Macy's,
I wanted to thank you for the outstanding Thanksgiving Day Parade. We taped it because we were on our way out of town to celebrate with my husband's family. We almost did not get out of the door because my daughter is smitten with watching it over and over again. She has watched TV shows before but has never been as captivated as she is with the parade. It is now viewed almost twice daily. Her favorite parts are the Broadway performances, specifically by Legally Blonde, Young Frankenstein and the most requested Mary Poppins. She tries to sing and dance along. She also enjoys the children dressed up in bright colors in the beginning- the Broadway Kids where they sing "Making Magic". She sings along. The favorite floats are Sesame Street and Bindi Erwin's animal float and accompanying song that Meredith calls "jump". She "no likey" the Rockettes too much or the Xanadu performance, so we fast forward through that. She does make us watch the pool commercial with Michael Phelps as we zoom through to the next performance though.

As we have the parade pretty much memorized in our house, if you are thinking of having parades for other holidays, such as Christmas, New Year's, President's Day, Easter, Arbor Day etc., please let us know and we will set the DVR.
