The warm weather has more than arrived and I couldn’t be happier. Our daily trips to the park are back and Meredith is starting to master the “big girl swing”. Meredith has been out on her scooter and tricycle, although is still requiring pushing. We signed up for the summer reading club at the library where Meredith gets fun prizes, we’ve journeyed to the zoo again, but vowed not to return again until after school was done and the school groups gone. Although now we’ll have the summer camp groups I suppose. We hit the pool for the first time this past Monday. We have an awesome pool near us that has a water playground with a slide that Meredith can slide down, get a little splash, but be able to stand up in the water at the end of the slide (she doesn’t go under yet).
This past weekend our house was the site of the annual picnic that we have with the girls from
Girl’s Weekend. This way we get to see the husbands and kids. Unfortunately not everyone could make it this year, but we still had fun getting most of us together.
Meredith had fun playing and running around with her buddies Emily and Liam (and even though there are still babies, Ethan and Grayson too!).
