Dum Dum Da Dum Dum Dum Dum

Frank and I are officially Olympic junkies now. We pretty much will have it on all day- swimming, tennis, saber, soccer, cycling, synchronized diving- whatever is on, we're there. It is also nice that the Olympics coordinates with the 12 days of Kristen this year and I can celebrate my 32 years with leftover ice cream cake and sand volleyball. Meredith is getting into it as well. I taught her to cheer "USA! USA!". If you ask her about her favorite swimmers she will answer Michael Phelps and Katie Hoff. Meredith has also been trying out a new word recently- nervous. She keeps asking me if the gymnasts are making me nervous. I just love everything about the Olympics really. So many of the events you do not get to see regularly on TV, except for maybe on ESPN15 at 2:00 a.m. on a Wednesday night. Growing up I swam competitively, as did my brother and sister, so watching swimming gets me all excited and emotional, and yes, nervous.
