Once you become a mother your time is not your own. There are many things that I would love to be able to do that just doesn't happen with a child around- eat a hot meal, go to the bathroom by myself, read a book or magazine, leisurely shopping, sleep through the night, sleep in. Once a year I get to indulge in our annual Girl's Weekend, where there is no schedule, a lot of talking and laughing, a little wine, and a battery recharge that will just last until next year. Last weekend was that weekend and we had a great time!
