Fall Fun

It seems like we were quite busy this fall! With the late September trip to the beach we came back to colder weather and basically went from swim suits and flip flops to long pants and long sleeves and *gasp* socks and shoes. Meredith had a hard time with adjustment and the concept of not being able to slip on her crocs and head out the door. We also came back and realized that with the wardrobe change Meredith has really grown in the past year! She’s officially moved to a size 5 and to the little girl’s section! I can’t believe it. It’s funny how random stuff like not shopping in the baby section can end up being an emotional thing!

This fall also started a new venture- soccer! Meredith was part of her first team and they played each Saturday. Basically it was mostly drills and a little bit of playing each other. She did really well! Her favorite part was when they played ‘steal the ball’. Plus, she looked adorable swimming in her uniform!

We did a little apple picking and going to the pumpkin patch with Mana and Poppi, and going for a crisp, fall hike.

For Halloween this year Meredith decided to be a cowgirl! I brought her back a cowgirl hat when I was in Sedona, AZ this past June which is what gave her the idea.

And, as in past Halloweens, Frank dressed up as too. I kept trying to get him to dress up as a horse or cow, but settled for a cowboy. They looked so cute!
