“Taco”

Meredith recently celebrated her 4th birthday. I can’t believe it! Lately she’s been counting in Spanish- uno, dos, tres, taco, cinco, seis. I guess that would make her “taco” years old in Spanish. When I ask her how she got this old she says, “On my first birthday I turned one, my second birthday I turned two, my third birthday I turned three, so now I’m four.” So there you have it.

Meredith has really grown over the past year! She’s added around 3 inches and 4 pounds and has really lengthened out in her arms and legs, which means we’ve been doing quite a bit of shopping lately. This past year she’s become slightly more independent, but still remains relatively shy and observant. She is still very silly, loving and smart. She’s tried some new things- going to her first movie in the theater to see Up, bowling at the bowling alley and riding a big girl bike. Her favorite ‘characters’ this year by far are all of the High School Musical movies as you can see by the birthday theme.

We are so blessed to have such a healthy, wonderful, entertaining little girl!
