Rice Krispie

Summer fun has begun!  We finally hit our first trip to the pool this week.  The pool was wonderful and Meredith had a blast.  We're still working on the actual swimming and going under water thing.
We went to camp for a half day to visit.  Meredith's Aunt Jenny was there volunteering for the week as the nurse, and friends Bryce and Lauren and their mom, my friend Deanna, were also there.  She had a great time at worship singing songs, going for a walk to the creek and throwing rocks in, pretending to lead campfire, and swimming in the pool.

The first tennis lesson began this week.  She was very timid at first and throwing her typical stubborn fit- a little throwing of things, grunting, some crying.  It's the worst because I really haven't found a good way to get her out of them.  It mostly happens when she is scared of something she shouldn't be and often a bit overtired.  She was nervous because she was the only student, so essentially it ended up being a private lesson!  There are only 5 kids in her class, one didn't show and the other 3 came to an earlier time that day.  Once she finally warmed up she was did great and had fun!  She even said she liked it better than soccer because she would rather use her hand to get the ball than her foot.

Meredith's mouth has been going crazy!!  A week ago she lost her second tooth.  I had been calling her snaggle tooth all week because it was barely hanging on- to the point that I could see the new tooth coming in behind it.  She then told me that she thought she had a rice krispie stuck in her teeth and she kept feeling it with her tounge, but she realized it was new tooth.  She's getting her molars in too!
