I initially starting this blog to keep track of all of those funny things Meredith would say as a toddler. And there were some doozies- my favorite being the magnets.
Lately her funnies have been much more sophisticated, as she has more than mastered the English language. As I always say about her- she talked early and often.
The other thing about her is she talks and reads with so much sass and expression. It even came up in parent/teacher conferences that she reads with great expression.
Here's a few zingers she's said lately:
"My freckles are my friends"
"Girl Scout cookies in tha how-owes (house)"
A few weekends ago she was really bossing Frank around-- "Daddy, get my coat." "Daddy, I dropped that, pick it up". I said to her, "Boy Meredith, you are really making Daddy your slave today." She replied, "I know. And Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream that we would all be free."
