First off, my 31st birthday was good! I got some very nice presents and a fun little party with the fam. I had what I consider to be the best pizza from Columbus- Adriaticos. We order the Buckeye and it is gigantic! I also had what I consider the best cake in Columbus- strawberry cake and a white chocolate mouse cake from the Golden Delight Bakery. Mmmm! Meredith had fun playing with her cousins from my side of the family, Reagan and Katherine.
In other news, Meredith has been very funny on our walks to the park to swing lately. She has discovered her shadow and has had quite long conversations with it. She also likes to see Maddie's (her doll's) shadow as well. She tells her shadow to "park and swing". I don't think she understands why it isn't moving without her!
We had fun yesterday playing in the pool in the backyard as well as running through the Elmo sprinkler. Meredith was soaked!
Also, I discovered this weekend that Meredith is cutting teeth. Four teeth! She is getting all four of her 2 year old molars. 3 have a tip broken through the gum and the other you can see the white underneath. She is notorious for cutting many teeth at once and around her first birthday had 8 teeth coming in. No wonder she has had some sleepless nights lately!
